This 6-hour interactive course will be delivered VIA ZOOM to a small group of up to 15 learners.

 

Aim of the Course: 

Participants will have a greater knowledge around the types of performance- and image-enhancing drugs that can be used (e.g. anabolic-androgenic steroids, Melanotan II, Ozempic), the populations that may use them, and approaches to working more effectively with people who use these substances.

 

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

◉      Describe various performance and image-enhancing drugs (PIEDs)

◉      Describe the various populations who might engage in PIED use

◉      Explain the risks associated with PIED use

◉      Identify approaches to working with people using PIEDs

◉      Identify relevant sources of support
