Aims Of The Course
Aim of the Course: Participants will have a greater understanding of cannabis and its use, both recreational (illicit) and prescribed/medicinal.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the history of cannabis use
- Understand the science of the cannabis plant
- Identify harms associated with the use of prohibited cannabis
- Describe how cannabis is used medically
- Identify sources of support
Course Eligibility / Relevance
Course Relevance:
This course is relevant to anyone working with people who may use cannabis (recreationally and/or medicinally).
Course Eligibility: Participants should have a basic knowledge around substance use prior to attending this course.
How this course will be delivered: This 3-hour interactive course will be delivered VIA ZOOM to a small group of up to 15 learners.
