Course 1: Opioid Overdose Awareness and Naloxone Administration
This e-learning course forms part of the Public Health Agency’s Take Home Naloxone Programme in Northern Ireland.
It will show you how to recognise and respond to an opioid overdose. You will learn how to identify the signs of an overdose, respond quickly in an emergency and administer Naloxone safely. You will also learn how to access local support and services, giving you the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively and potentially save a life.

Course 2: Naloxone Suppliers Training
This e-learning course forms part of the Public Health Agency’s Take Home Naloxone Programme in Northern Ireland and builds on the knowledge and skills covered in Course 1. You must complete Course 1 before completing this course.
You will learn how to supply Naloxone in line with the legislative requirements of the Take Home Naloxone Programme and apply your learning from Course 1 in your role as a Naloxone supplier. You will also learn how to accurately record the supply of Naloxone and meet the required governance requirements.
